Shipping
Consignments can be send by Air or by Sea freight. Air
freight is much speedier but at an additional cost. Containers
work out more cost effective. We either send 20 Foot or
40 Foot Containers depending on how many trophies will
fill the Container.
We send 3 to 5 Containers yearly to Denmark with clients
from the following Countries, Denmark, Finland, Norway,
Sweden, Germany, Holland, Belgium, France and Russia. |

Our freight agent CF Geologistics
A/S / Agility Logistics is experienced in the handling
of game trophies. The hunting client will be provided
with a quotation once the trophies have been received
and are ready for delivery to the client. The quotation
shall include such costs as the freight from Walvisbay
Harbor to Copenhagen, Denmark, to the country of
final destination.
The quotation is based on either the actual weight,
or the volumetric weight of the hunting trophies,
depending on which one is the greatest. The volumetric
weight can be calculated as follows:
Volumetric Weight = (Length x Width x Height) ÷
6000
Regarding the calculation of volumetric weight,
which you have mentioned is in regards to Airfreight.
Ocean freight is 1 : 1 same as 1 cbm equal to 1000
kgs.
Transport costs can and will be calculated, as soon
as Geologistics know the total volume of the specific
container, and when all documents has been received
from Agent and Ocean carrier. These documents will
be available in Denmark approximately three weeks
after departure from Walvis Bay.
(To calculate the total door to door transport costs,
it’s necessary to receive full name, address,
phone number and e-mail on each client).
Once the trophies arrive in Copenhagen they will
be cleared by Customs in a consistent, timely and
cost effective manner. Each client will be contacted
by (1st priority) e-mail or by (2nd priority) post
mail with the attached invoice, including bank account
details. When the payment has been received, final
delivery to client will be arranged. |

Insurance
The trophies are insured as soon as the trophies
are collected at Otjiwarongo Taxidermy, Geologistics has
a standing agreement with the Insurance company CHUBB
Insurance in Denmakr. The insurance is based on each trophy,
and in case of loss of the trophies, the insurance will
cover cost of Trophy fee, taxidermy work and transport. |

You need to appoint a broker /clearing agent in
your country to handle customs and clearance of
your animal trophies and to generally guide you
through import procedures. Your shipping agent will
advise you on a reputable broker /agent closest
to your shipping port.
Once I.F.N have received, either the go-ahead from
the respective agent that you chose, or alternatively,
confirmation that the amount for the freight charges
etc. has been transferred into their account, they
will then immediately dispatch your consignment
of hunting trophies via Frankfurt, Germany, to the
country of final destination.
Consignments to the U.S.A.
Hunting trophy shipments to the United States of
America (U.S.A.) are of a much more complicated
nature, due to the U.S.A. Fish and Wildlife Service
being generally stricter. For example, it is not
possible to send the hunting trophies of two or
more hunters, as one shipment (together). Also,
please note that the Fish and Wildlife import regulations
differ, from State to State. |

choose not to make use of our agent and nominate your
own designated shipping agent and broker pls. inform us
before the trophies leave our premises. |
